Candace has a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting (magna cum laude). She also earned an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in paralegal studies from Vernon Regional College in Texas. Candace is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
For the past 22 years, Candace has obtained a broad range of professional experience. After 7 years in the U.S. Air Force and an honorable discharge, she started her Paralegal career. She has worked in bankruptcy, intellectual property and corporate law. Candace joined SMC in 2002 and has provided corporate governance, Director/Officer and Independent Manager services. In 2015, Candace became a CPA and supervises the accounting requirements of the firm’s clients.
